Is [I]this[/I] kid D1 talent?

There was a thread concerning another video for the same reason, I found another video of a d pole who I thought was better than the guy in the other video. So, do you guys think this is D1 or any college talent?

It's kinda hard to tell with a highlight video. It showed a little defense but not enough to truely determine whether he's D1 or not. Most of the video is him picking up open groundballs and running them up the field. He's definatly better than the other kid and it says hes only a sophmore. In fact, from what i saw, when it came to body position, this kid was ten times better. Could really go either pending how he develops.

Hes not absolutely d1 material
he is still a sophomore, plays for a very good team and should continue to grow and learn as he gets older. Definitely has potential, but isn't quite there yet. Also, remember this is a highlight film (obviously), so this isn't showing his whole game, only the better parts. It would be more telling if we could see how he responded in other situations.
Lacks a variety of checks. 90% of his checks were slaps.
Defensemen cannot afford to be predictable. his checks are basic in approach and bettter attackmen would not lose the ball in quite a few of those cases. That said, he is a soph, and he is still learning.

Guys, he isn't very big. Certainly not muscular-wise, can't really tell on height.
