Well today i got my stick.. just in time for camp.. it's really hard to get adjusted to.. since it's big and heavy.. well i suited up and my brother was shooting at me.. i was able to make some saves but the think i had problem with was the bounce shots.. and off hip.. oh well i think i'll get decent at camp.. and then my brother ripped a shot right into my right bicept :( oh well i got the goalmaster strung with 10 diamond mesh and it's on a stx c405 goalie lenght pole..

i dont think youre going to get much lighter of a stick with a c405 shaft on it.

does an abyss weigh less than a eclipse? anyone know?

According to this article, the Eclipse and Goalmaster are both lighter than the Abyss.

Trying to find a lighter and stiffer goalie stick (www.goalienation.com/spotlight/pdf/0311_feller.pdf)

It's a pretty good article, and the graphs at the bottom are very helpful. Good work to whoever wrote it.

The Abyss is noticably lighter than the Eclipse, what article are you talking about?

There only a diffeence of maybe 100 grams so its not very important the Eclise is a far better stick. Its got a perfect scoop very easy to get a good pocket and is very strong

one more thing worth getting:

bill pilats the ball stops here. great instructional video.

dont let people shoot on you willy nilly, and make your brother give you a proper warm-up before he starts shooting and trying to score goals on you
