Ive got a question about that big warning on the back of helmets. Id like to take it off, if possible, because it looks flat out ugly imho. Im wondering if anybody has done this, if it is even legal, and if anybody knows an easy way to do this. At first I was thinking nail polish remover, but Im not sure. The helmet is a CPX, if that matters.

It is illegal to remove warning labels from any piece of protective gear.
If you do it, then your illegible to be sent of the field or swap helmets.

I wouldnt but my warning label on my CPX is like melted into the helmet.

I believe you can take off the warning label, you just have to leave on the NOCSAFE sticker if you have one. This is to simply let the ref know that you are wearing a safe helmet.

I think its like the tag on the matress... not to be taken off by the company or the seller, but can be taken off by the consumer...

well its painted on the back of the helmet in a different color than the helmet itself (at least it is on the CPX) and its also imprinted so i dont know how you would go about taking it off/repainting it

Well, helmets are for protection not for looks, although colors and stuff make them look nice, and that's always a plus, but safety comes first.
