As stated before "and that's why" utah "lacrosse isn't that great". That is NOT how lacrosse is supposed to be played, and that's why any team that does that crap can be destroyed by any semi decent team who knows how to catch and throw. Watch top level high school or college and count how many hits you see, you won't need more than a hand or two to do it. They also won't be illegal. Speaking of the legality of the hits in the video, not only were almost all of them illegal, the majority of them were quite dangerous and can seriously injure an individual (like the crosscheck to the throat I saw).

It's pathetic that this kind of video is seen as cool and is considered to be "lacrosse" when in reality it is nothing close to the actual game. You talk to any coach that is worth his/her salt and they'll tell you that they would prefer to not play a physical game and if they're playing well, they won't.

Lacrosse is NOT football. Take your macho, football induced, desire to hit everyone in the game and get off of the lacrosse field. The game has no place for anyone like that nor does it want to create one.

haha, no. 19 was toby, he graduated. No one really liked him because he would beat up even our own team mates. He smoked and stuff too, but is good at football. Im glad hes gone. BTW, what school do you play for, Ill be seeing you this year on varsity.

Those were some cheap shots. The cross-check to the neck? Dirty, cheap AND dangerous. A good hit is great-- especially when there's actual good lacrosse going on. But the fact that a few of those hits were taken when there were loose balls AND NO ONE'S GOING AFTER THE BALL only leads me to conclude that this particular Ohio team pretty much sucks at lacrosse.

I think the production company did an amazing job. I thnk the white team needs some disipline. The team seems to proud of the illegal hits. Why would you make an entire video of mostly illegal hits? If I wanted to highlight my team I'd highlight great shots and great (clean) hits. Where were the refs during this game??? The refs in Maryland (and I hope most other parts of the lacrosse world), would have the numbers of most of the players on that team. Last year there was one player on our team who made at least one dirty hit every game. He was called for penalties (at least 2 or 3 per game) that were maginal and may not have been called on any other player, but the refs had this kid under a microscope. This kid also had a bad reputation among the parents of the other teams. The lacrosse community is small enough that your reputations get around.

I think this video gives most of ohio lacrosse a bad name. Most teams play with class, and almost all teams at d1 are good sports. Although Ohio may not be a powerhouse lacrosse state you cant say that we are bad either, we hadtwo teams in the top 25 in the nation last year.

Anyways, my old middle school team could probably beat the team in that video. That was ugly, ugly lacrosse, and some even uglier hits, which the team for some reason seems to be proud of. No passing, catching, nothing fundamental.

I don't know how many times i have said this in the past, but the Airforce Academy (along with the Naval Academy and West Point) don't give scholarships. It is free. Therefore, scholarships are not needed.

But yea, from what I hear the kid is going to play at Air Force.

Also, I would just like to add that in the video all the teams are giving each other cheap shots. Its not like it was just this team. And you guys guessed it, all these teams suck. For some teams, it's basically football with sticks.

lol thats how my team is, i play in south florida and basically 99% of our team plays football, so like on ground balls and stuff kids are lookin to crack back some people, it is retarded considering they go for the hit more then the ball half the time but still some sick hits
