end of a stick

ok ive seen kids do have like a role tape rolled over at the end of a stick so it kinda looks like a donut, i tried that by cutting tape in half and rolling it at the end of my shaft is this legal, how do o ther ppl do , and how can i make it leagal because im liking it alot it gives me somehting solid to hold onto

Making a tape butt is most definatly legal.

i live in nyc and play in CHSAA and i think they said it has to be closed but im not sure your prolly right though

you gotta cover the ends of the metal showing completely thats how you make it legal

first cut like a square of tape then cover the end of your shaft, then i cut my roll of tape into 1/4ths and then roll it around the end then i just tape it up 12 inches normally like i usually do
