I heard from a couple people that supplements
1. strain your liver or kidney one of the 2
2. are full of hormones and other things that are in milk, and they are ok in milk but in a super concentrated food like a supplement it is not good for you.
3. they cost $$$
4. they are not absorbed into your body as readily as foods high in protein

also that the Air force coach for either football or lacrosse (cant rember  ) told his players to use food over supplements. Also if you eat foods you can get almost the same amount of protein that will be used and will not stress out your body. plus u get calories that u need to build muscle as well.
any thoughts

Yea, I think and hope it is as well. Supplaments are used to SUPPLAMENT food hence the name... Maybe you can figure the answer out on your own now.

I don't know anyone who just eats like a pound of whey powder a day, but supplements are for supplementing. They are not necessary, but have proven results.

I know I try to eat a ton, and also use supplements.
