what are the rules regarding Shafts

I need to know all the rules governing shafts. can someone point me to that exact info or c&p it for me

For Boys NFHS, shafts can be no bigger than 3.5 inches in diameter. The shaft and head combined can be no longer than 72 inches, and no shorter than 40 inches. Only a goalie's stick (head and shaft) can measure between 42 and 52 inches long. There has to be a cap on the end.

Not in the 2006 federation rule book. You may want to shape 'em so that they fit into the heads snugly, but you could make a shaft out of 1 inch rebar if you wanted to.
