College Equiptment

I've always noticed that colleges always get their equiptment from the same company, helmets, gloves, etc.

I was curious, lets say you went to Hofstra or someplace, are you required (stick wise i mean, obviously you have to use the same pads) to use a stick from the company that the college is buying their gear from? (such as stx)

It depends on how fully sponsored you are. Here at Fontbonne we all have CPX helmets and STX pads but I use a Matrix, Revo Pro, and Razer Pro and dont own a single STX shaft.

I don't know about Fontbonne specifically, but D3 equipment ranges from helmets and gloves only to everything. However, usually everything is provided except your stick, at least according to D3 coaches I've talked to.

It all depends on the schools funding. Some schools get everything and multiple sticks..some schools just give you a helmet and gloves. It all depends about funding.
