Boton Cannons claimed rookie goalie Justin Sussman from the Baltimore Bayhawks.
Baltimore Bayhawks rookie goalkeeper Justin Sussman has been claimed off the team's practice squad by the Boston Cannons, it has been announced by Major League Lacrosse (MLL) officials.
A 2003 graduate of Bucknell University, Sussman started in each of the Bayhawks' first two games. He earned his first MLL win in goal after recording 17 saves in the Bayhawks' 24-18 season-opening victory over Rochester at Seahawks Stadium on May 22. Against the Cannons five days later, Sussman allowed 10 goals, including five in the first quarter, in Baltimore's 22-21 loss at Unitas Stadium.
Sussman was 1-1 in his two starts this season and stopped 48.1 per cent of the shots he faced. He had a goals against average of 17.14 goals per contest.
