first year playing lacrosse and i hear that custom pockets are better than store bought pockets...and i was just wondering is there any pockets i can practice stringing until i get the hang of everything...and whats the cheapest place to get mesh and nylons and all that stuff?

jimalax.com
And if you are just starting to string, don't start with customs, start with mesh, you can find tutorials all over the place, just look.

check the tutorials list, i suggest you start with the basic mesh pockets then to the trad and then pitas from there you can work on other complex pockets
