shaft length regulations???

what are the lengths that are allowed for shafts in high school (by position)?

i want to try playin middie/d with a goalie shaft, but i want to make sure its legal first.

just for the heck of it.
its kind of a happy medium. not too long. not too short.

but regardless of my reasoning, could someone please answer the question?

For attack/midfield the complete stick must be 40-42 inches and for defense the complete stick must be 52-72 inches. If a goalie shaft is 40 inches you would be looking at about a 52 inch stick.

Cant do it at attack, but you could as a long stick middie, or a defender.
