I decided I liked the RP I strung in my other stick so much that I strung a RP in my E3.

The saddle is wrong but if that works, keep it.

Its not wrong, just its narrower and the knots are spread a little farther apart in the pic so they look kind of as if they were separate knots.
edit: actually now that you call it to my attention, something does look strange in it. Im gonna go check it out.
edit II: I checked and pushed it closer together, looks correct and is fine.

I'm sure you're right and it's correct, but it just doesn't look right to me. I dont know what it is. I will do some searching because I want to find out if i'm just crazy or something.
edit: I found it, there's no loopy thingy. I dont know the purpose of said loopy thingy, but I do know that it doesn't matter b/c your saddle accomplishes the purpose of a saddle.

look at the last 3 pics, midknight shows how its done. once again i dont know why it's done that way.

Viking goalie, I guess you were correct then. Oh well, I might adopt that way of doing the saddle since it is the way known to work the best ( I had no idea people did it like that, I thought I was doing it regularly).
But to show that my saddle does look like a saddle when pushed together and tightened:

And a pic of the pocket with the coil straightened out:

the coil still should be pulled up all the way to the scoop, and the saddle should be wider (the same width as the track). You should work on those twists too. they should be twisted together rather than one wrapped around the other
on a good note, your knots look correct and very clean. Also it looks like the pocket has a nice shape to it.

The saddle is incorrect if you were going for a real RP saddle. You need to loop the string over ther the other string after doing the knot. I don't think I'm allowed to go into more detail than that, but its not right. Also, it should be the same width as the channel.
Other than that, nice job. Looks really good.
EDIT: I guess viking beat me to it.

No, there is no real RP tut.. it is patented.
