Hey I was wondering what I could do to strengthen the muscles I need to to make it easier to swing around my dpole. I was thinking maybe weighing it down with something and wall balling with that. Any tips would b great.

Maybe get yourself a wooden pole. Train with that and then play with your lighter stick.

Also do some wrist exercises with dumbells to get your wrists stronger.

Your checks are in your forearms. And one way to strengthen your forearms you can hold your dpole from the buttend. Then have your arm fully extended, and movew your dpole up and down with your wrists.

if your willing to spend some cash, you could buy a training pole and play wallball or maybe use it at practice

you could try one handed wall ball with a shortie to strength your wrists and forearms, but wrist curls would also help

one handed shorty play is great. one handed stick-up's work. craddle 2 balls (a/m or pole) wooden pole/training pole is great. the best thing is just to play.

why not just get some gravel or sand, and fill up an shaft. then play with it till you think its easy. then you'll be a mean checkin machine and be able to handle your stick with ease

when i was still playing, my entire team went out and got BBs and filled our sticks with them for practices...By the time games rolled around on the weekends, we had some real real quick sticks...practicing sucked though, and there were a ton of errant passes
