thats what i do since im slow and heavy i just plow through them since they are all skinny little *******s. also on defense (short pole) put your hands together on your stick and hold it horizantally and push them to teh ground or cross check them when no ones looking. i literaly have knocked kids down with ease. also build intimidation...make them scared of you by hitting them hard once of twice that way they wont mess with you. i find picking one target and constantly smashing the hell out of him until he runs away eveytime you get the ball :).

Hit harder. Use your momentum. If you lean at the right time/angle, you can easily overpower a buffed out 5'7" player.

when using your body, your going to have to get a lot lower. As any football player would know, the lower man wins. Before hitting them break down and then burst into them. For an attack, just beast your way thorugh the defense. As a defender, tall guys are a pain. Yor longpole advantage is somewhat taken away.

If i cant beat a defender with what little speed i have, i just truck stick him. I'm 6'4" 220, and I just get low, protect my stick and just smash into them. I dont always make it to the net, but it surely keeps them off balance the next time i have the ball.
the thing is im not big just tall, i got a lankyish build

put some weight on, and then just use your power if you cant dodge any one. practice some dodges and all that so you get adapted to dodging with your size, and you have all the muscle memory and coordination. but i doubt you grew to 6'3 in one night, so that probably actually isnt a problem.

You need to build up strength in your legs. That way you can get low and power throuigh people.

A hard hit. Good. A great check. super. A little intimidation? Good idea. But a cross check when no ones looking? Cheap. Thug. And takes no skill whatsoever.

We have a lanky player on my team who's not too shabby to say the least. Just learn to lean into people, especially those shorter than you, but yeah, you can easily shoot/pass over people at your height.
