High reps with low weight or High weight with low reps?
Say I'm 150.
Is it better to do 100-120 5 times. or 65-85 10 times
This is just an example.
And would it matter with different kinds of activities?

More reps will get you more toned and give you great stamina, while higher weight will give you more raw power and strength.

depending on the position you play you may want to do diferent things. Say, if your a defender you may want to bulk up and go for strength, i am in no way saying you d-men don't need indurance too. If you were attack you might want to go for tone and endurance. midfield should do some of both. All that is just my opinion.

You should be able to do 3 sets of somewhere between 6 and 12 reps of whatever you're doing. If you can't do six, you've got too much weight and you're gonna hurt yourself, and if you can do more than twelve, you might as well up your weight.

Oh really? So when I dead lift 365 pounds 4 times, that's too much and I should take weight off cuz I'm not doing myself any good?
Yeah, pretty much.

Hahaha, I know your joking libertyville.
What are your goals? Toned and defined? Or strong and massive? Whats your definition of low and high? for this example, lets say low is 4-6 and high is 20.
If you want definition, do low reps with heavy weights.
If you want mass, do high weights and low repititions.
If you want muscular endurance, do high reps, low weight.
Read that again before you call me out boy
