Anyone play HS lax in middle school?

Has anyone played high school lacrosse in middle school? At my school this is the first year that 8th graders are allowed to play freshman because of the lack of freshman players. So anyone ever play up? And did you run into any problems with time. My school ends at 3:35 and HS ends at 2:30. So most of the freshman games start at 4:00 but its gonna be tight with time. I will still miss warm ups and the beggining of practices but it will be a big improvement over playing with 1st year 7th and 8th graders.(i have been playing for 5 years).

Umm, when I was on a summer all-star team in 8th grade, they moved me up to the high school all-star team. Don't know if that counts...but yeah.

I don't but my little buddy does. He's in 8th and plays on our JV team cause the middle school team doesn't have enough players for a good effective team.

Before my school made lacrosse a Full Out Varsity sport [Associated Directly with the school, funded etc], We were allowed to play Lax for the Hs, But I went to a few practices, and I played in one scrimage..
But thats it, No one ever played in a game..

We were too small, because at that point there was only a varsity..

last year in 8th grade, i played on the JV high school team here. i would have played varsity too but they wouldnt let me because of liability issues.

me and one other kid played lacrosse, and since it was only officially a "club", there was no rule against using 8th graders because our school is so small. I ran first line midfield and ran off for the longpole usually, because i couldn't play defense very well.

I knew a kid who played jv in 8th grade, and was like the leading scorer on the team.

My son played JV as an 8th grader and made varsity as a freshman. It's true there were some hoops to jump through to play up as an 8th grader. you had to have certain grades and be signed off by the Middle School Director.

I played JV in 8th grade for a few games but couldn't play for varsity because you can only play 4 years total of a varsity sport in high school so it would prohibit me playing later on

i got offered to play up this year with my schools varsity but my mom was afraid i would get hurt because im only 5'4 110 so i have to play middle school this year

when i was in 8th grade i played varsity games and middle school games.. actually started varsity

I'm playing JV this year. It's gonna be really tough cause I have to drop out the second half of MS wrestling because lax cuts into it. It sucks but I can't pass up playing JV. I also have to take a fitness test which is pretty hard.

im a sophmore and two year starter at varsity. i started as a freshmen and i played second string varsity as an 8th grader. i started two games because people were hurt.

yea in 8th grade i played at the highschool...the jv coach was at one of our games and invited me to come to the practices, and then i started playing in the highschool games

I think im going to play a little JV this year for 3 games while the goalies are in China (school band trip).

i played freshman and some jv as an 8th grader. then jv and started some varsity as a freshman. and started every game on varisty as a soph.
