maybe invest in some knee patches. They are kinda like huge band-aids that cover your knees. They arent band-aid material though. Its a sort of tensor bandage material that sticks to your legs.

mine are torn up from basketball. and then the indoor turf just makes it worse.
sometimes high socks help a little bit. but when they're already torn up it's pointless.

what sucks is by the time they heal its game-day again so they just keep on regressing

and they'll get on a bad spot where everytime you bend your knee it cracks open. and then your jeans will scrape against them too. just a very annoying thing to have.

yeah, i dont spend to much time on the ground, its hard to play from there. Stay on your toes on FO's and keep moving, you wont get knocked over as much. And i know this seems girly, but use moisturizer on your elbows and knees, the winter cold dries your skin out anyway, so it will help. Plus girls like a guy with soft skin, specifically hand(wink)

i use athletic tape to tape my high socks at or above the knees, it stops the turf burn and the tape prevents the socks from getting torn up...
yea one time i slid about 6 ft on the turf on my right knee, pretty much a 2-2.5 inch diameter circle of skin was completely gone... not fun

ouch...
and colts what i meant by on faceoffs it just hurts to bend my knees like that cuz it pulls the cuts open.
i just pulled one of those rubber beads out of my knee...ewww

Pfff. Try playing on concrete, not the arena stuff but outoors. It's like playing on the street. After a game, whatever is left of your knees is just one bloody mess.

That sucks man. I hav'nt been hit hard enough to end up on the ground yet, but I have had bad turf burn on my knees before I remember I put some liquid new skin on it. It covers it with like a plastic type substance that protects it and has a disenfectant that helps it heal.

Well for wrestling my knees got really scratched, rug burn kinda, so i used knee pads for that. Same can be done for lax.

all i got this year is my knee brace on my right...i did cut my knees open almost every game in goal. just getting down on the low saves is a killer for them. they do make a patch thing to cover your knees...probably at like walmart or something.

maybe just some well placed strips of regular tape that you use on ur shafts? i think that would work. like figure out where ur knees get torn up most, and put it there.
