NC state upset no. 3 Carolina 83-79. All five NC State starters scored double figures. My dad and I are NC Statefance, while my mom and sister are UNC fans, so it was pretty crazy at my house. Discuss.

i missed the game cause i was at a lax game. I saw the replays/ highlights and it looked like a good game. From what i saw the Hansboro techinal foul was BS. The ref who made the call was in no position to T his up.

It was areally exciting game. I had my doubts about NC state up untill the second half.

as a Duke fan, i would naturally choose NC State over UNC, and this post got me pretty psyched.

JLax3, if they go down in the rankings, who cares? Rankings don't mean anything until March, and even then...
State is nothing but a mediocre team but they shot lights out and made some crazy shots. I know they couldn't do it again, but it was just one of those games. I knew we would over look state before Dook on Wednesday. But I don't think we will need anymore motiviation for Dook than this game.
State fans REALLY needed something to cheer about anyway. Especially after UNC beat them in football?!?

Come on they both sucked in football, but in basketball UNC is good, and State who ins't beat them. I do agree it was very lucky, but they beat VT, who UNC lost to.

ew vile duke fans. id rather see UNC win and Duke(puke) lose all the time. By the way, way to lose to FSU!
