I was just looking around a wondering, are teh recruiting sites really worth it. I was looking into that Coaches' eye site, and it was over 50 bucks a month. Is that really worth it? Anyone that uses them here?

Topstar is NOT a good recruiting camp. It is VERY hard to get looks there and they pick the all star teams by the schools kids go to and not talent.
If you are looking for a good camp find a recommendation camp like Peak, 205 or Bluechip.

I think you guys are being a little hard on those recruiting websites, If you can get some videos of yourself up there, its not a bad place, I'm on a free one, and I've gotton a few emails from colleges for grades.Cause they can't talk to me with lacrosse stuff yet legally.

it depends on what site you use. if you really want a recruiting site to work, youre most likely going to have to use a website that costs money because thats where most coaches are going to be looking. but there are exceptions like faceofflax showed. what site are you using faceoff?

As soon as you get around that age when you're thinking about colleges, you're going to be getting hundreds of emails, letters etc from colleges (none will have to do with lacrosse, most about how you're well qualified). So, unless you're getting these emails from coaches, which you shouldn't be, welcome to the world of being a HS junior. It's nothing special. They're not going to stop anytime soon, and you'll be getting info from colleges you've never even heard of/have interest in. The only letters that show that a coach is looking at you, are the ones from the athletic program.

Alot of college mail is generated by PSAT tests and the info you provide the PSAT and SAT people.

Sophomore/Junior, really any time in HS you'll start getting them. Obviously you're not a junior, but when junior year hits, this is pretty much what it consists of, whether you're being recruited or not. Those colleges were probably sent by that website if they say that, but it in no way means a college coach is actually looking at you. You'll know when a coach is interested, it will be blatent. Figuring out how much he's really interested, is another story.
