I remember my friend who sold me all his lacrosse gear had this heavy ball, he made out of duct tape. I forgot how he made it, all i remember was he said he put coins and then just made a big ball of duct tape. Does anyone know how to do this, so you have a heavy training ball which isnt like $8. Thank you

Umm...you could use a tennis ball, cut an X in it, and put coins in, you put an x so they won't come back out, in the dase just a slit would work.

Live4it's right about how to do it, however, I would not suggest using a training ball. As discussed in other threads, it messes up your form and over time it can ruin your pocket as well. If you're looking for weighted lacrosse stuff, I would suggest filling your shaft with sand or pennies. I've played with both and I think this is better. It messes up your form, but not as much and it won't ruin your pocket, it'll just give your teammates really big bruises.

May I ask why it has to be an Aluminium shaft?

It'd be easier to fill it with BBs. The best thing to do is get a weighted head, you can buy velcro weights that strap on. Or tape some weights to it and you can peel them off easily.

fill it with sand, takes away the annoying sound and its easier to get out.
