At least the Raiders had a pretty good defense. The Lions have absolutely NOTHING going for them, plus the continue to retain Matt Millen. They hould have also been 2-14, if the Cowboys weren't so lazy and unfocused. I can't wait to see what receiver they draft in the first round this year.

Youre wrong, the Lions only have some of the better receivers in the NFL

like............mike furrey!!!!!!
mike williams cant be considered good until he actually gets to play, and yes roy williams is actually good

but as long as matt millen is here, we wont win
its that simple

also, when we actually WANT to lose, namely our last game against the cowboys, we win of course to lose the #1 pick and all of our leverage in the draft
the lions can do nothing right, but the raiders have at least somewhat of a dafense so that puts them, ahead of the lions

Who voted for the redskins? Whoever did must not now about all the teams with records worse than theirs. For example, most of those on the poll.

Good Joke, we need to get rid of Mark Millen, we've choosen a reciever first round for the past three years, and my moneys betting that we do again, And our Recievers never do anything, Detroit should drop all of their players, and start from fresh, they'll suck for 5 years, then they'll be playoff worthy.

correct me if Im wrong, but doesnt going 2-14 and earning a #1 draft choice and probably wasting it count as being the worst team?

The Raiders were just awful. The Raiders were one of them. They are still ways off from anywhere near a good team.

There's not a lot of difference between 2-14 and 3-13, and you can't say they've wasted it until they actually do. I'm curious to see if the Lions are gonna get Calvin Johnson or are forced to settle for Dwayne Jarret with the number 2 pick.

any team dumb enough to elect Randy Moss a captain deserves the title "worst team", and get a record of 2-14

But you KNOW they'll mess it up. I have this feeling they will

but now that you think of it, Im now stuck between Raiders and Lions, and heres why:

RAIDERS: A ghost of their legendary past. Ever since their loss to the Bucs in Super Bowl XXVII theyve been in a sharp downward spiral that I dont think they can get out of for quite some time. Also, they have had no consistant offensive style since Callahan was fired.

LIONS: Millon has driven this team into the core of the Earth. Once a somewhat proud franchise, the Lions are nothing more than the professional equivilant of Temple football (ok, maybe thats going a little too far, but you get the point). But the reason why I think the Lions will improve in the near future is the youth on their team. Plus, Matt Millons gotta be fired sometime

Id have to say the dolphins were pretty bad this year like most but seemed to pull it out against the good teams...who knew???

How can the Niners be on there, and who wa dumb enough to vote for them?

Do you know anything about football? Honest question.

Are we talking about worst as in performance wise, or worst as in expectations wise? The Washington Redskins, Tampa Bay Bucs, and Miami Dolphins were supposed to make some noise this season, but all three failed miserably. We all expected the raiders and lions to suck, so no real surprise there (Add Arizona to that...they're bad every year regardless of the media hype). So as far as expectations for teams go, the Skins, Bucs, and Phins are by far the three worst teams on that list.

colts suck

that's intelligent :dummy:

you can make a case for any team that has a pick 1-5. i'd have to go with the raiders though even if they have a decent defense. there offense was the absolute worst in the league and even if they had the chicago bears d they still would of been in the bottom 5 teams. i don't see this team being that good anytime soon especially since al davis is the owner. but who knows how much longer that will be if you know what i mean. but i gotta say i feel randy moss because i too play when i wanna :loser:

the lions have always been awful and they only made the playoffs like once or twice with barry sanders.WITH BARRY SANDERS. same kind of situation for the lions as long as MATT millen is calling the shots they have know hope.

why are people voting for the redskins as the worst team in the NFL? Probably eagles, giants, and cowgirls fans are doing this. Obviously the Raiders are the worst because they had the worst record, and their offense was absolutely horrible

The lions. I dont know much about the others but after watching lions play ball I had seen enough mistakes to last me a year so I voted for them

cardinals are gonna be nice next year
they have all the talent, they just need some help at oline and they got ken whisenhunt to help as coach

osulax
02-07-2007, 01:15 PM
when you say some help you mean a lot. there going to need some key free adgents or draft picks to help protect leinart. matt leinart hasn't toatlly proven himself yet either. and the defense is along way from being dominant. so say it will be a little while until the cardinals will be considered "nice".

raiders-by far. Whats intreaging about them though is their wonderful D-something that is usually terrible with the worst team in the leage. Enter an offensive coach, almost the same D, Russell, and maybe a tony hunt in the second round and you've got a promising team. But for now, they lie at the bottom
