Facebook you dont feel obligated to change top friends and all that B.S. you just leave it up there and occasionally check in.

Yeah stalkerbook is so much better..... (10)
I use Myspace to follow bands, and facebook to keep up with my friends.
And i cant really say that either is better because i like aspects of both, and cant stand aspects of both aswell, which is why i use each of them for different things.
The costomization of Myspace is really nice, but the uniform layout of facebook helps me easily navigate it and find what im looking for. Which is why i like myspace for music, so you can get a little bit of an idea about a band from their page. But facebook its so much easier to just go to someones page, write on their wall, and not have to watch a squirrel rideing on water ski's (a.k.a. stupid video's that load up on peoples myspaces)
Also the ability for small companies, musicians and film makers to advertise and get in touch with their fan base as well as expand it though myspace is really nice, and something you cant really do though to many other mediums.
So i'll have to say, that i like them both. While also hating them both, because they take up way to much of my time.

So, the person who created this thread and poll has no opinion, and therefore you created this poll to serve what purpose? to discuss something that has been discussed already on these forums? Go read a book or something kid.

Care to elaborate, or is that cliff hanger the best material that were going to get from you?
Maybe a little reasoning as to why you belive this? Because really its possable to check my myspace and facebook in less then a minute. Have them both checked and be on with my life. Open them both with tabed browsing before i go to school, or work. And done...
So I really dont think that there is any truth behind what you said. Considering about 300 million people use myspace. And yeah, the entire population of america *atleast the 150 million or so that have myspaces* dont sit in front of the PC all day.

Myspace is the worst layout ever. Even if it wasnt now almost exclusively used by 14 year old emos who take pictures of themselves looking depressed and looking away, or take a picture of themself with a depressed look in a mirror, it would still suck because the interface is so bad. Everyone has miles of junk in videos/surveys, tons of times you cant read anything because their backround clashes with their font, the music gets effing annoying after awhile, people always have bad code somewhere, and the whole friend system (including the top 8) is supposedly impossible to use. I have never had and dont plan on ever making a myspace.
yeah on myspace you have all these annoying kids and people adding you that you don't know. And theres the people who post bulletins telling you to comment them and there pictures which I find really annoying. Facebook doesn't have all this and I hope they never do.

You dont need to get so personally offended, and i agree with badgerlax i have friends who spend their lives on myspace and talk about it nonstop.

So he makes a blanket statement about how everyone that uses a service is a loser that spends their entire life on their computer. Yet when i say something contrary and dont say something personal, and im not trolling the hell out of the thread, I become the prick?
Wow...

personally i don't use myspace so I have to say facebook
I have both but don't really like either one. Facebook is for Stalkers (that lil stream thing that tells you all the recent activities of your friends) and Myspace is for whores (...no explanation needed). Xanga is where its at (jk)!
*disclaimer: above statements are soley intended for joking and are knowingly exaggerated and/or not entirely accurate. Please do not take offense.
It's just like MSN vs. AIM. The better one is whichever your friends use.
