Yeah yeah. Just what I think. I wanted the Bears, too.

peyton is not the mvp i would give it to one of the running backs...the colts didnt even play that well and dont be suprised if the bears are back next year keep in mind that the bears didnt have their 2nd and 3rd best d guys in tommie harris and mike brown they could be back

Really, it was a toss-up. It could have been Addai, Manning or Rhodes. I think they should have split the award, or have found a way to give it to Tony Dungy...

It doesn't matter, though, my team won, and i'm beside myself with joy.

Could we change his name to Fumbles? or maybe Grace?

if the colts won everyone knew they would give it to peyton. really with all the hype about his first superbowl who else would they give it to? if one running back did what addai and rhodes both did then you can make a strong argument to give it to whomever that might of been, but you couldn't clearly give it to either one of them and you couldn't of split it because it's most valuble player not players. giving it to tony dungy would of been stupid. yes he's a great coach but he wasn't wearing a jersey so there for he's out.

actually yeah alot of people were talking about both two headed monstered running attacks with addai and rhodes and benson and jones. whose to say that if they kept addai in the whole game he couldn't of done what rhodes did? he was running really well against the bears d too. like i said before if one running back did what both did then it might of gone to him.

I would have liked co-MVPs: Rhodes AND Addai. They've done co-MVPs before.

the colts took out addai because he was two catches from breaking the reception record. that way, the face of the franchise, peyton, could win the mvp. he didn't really have any good plays. addai and rhodes were ten times better

There's a very strong case for Bob Sanders too. Forced fumbles, INTs. Why no love for the defense? :(

who were co-mvp's in past superbowls? i'm curious. it's strange to say there have been co-mvp's without listing them because that's pretty rare. not saying you're wrong though.

peyton did throw a td with a guy hanging all over him. i thought that was pretty impressive, even if reggie wayane was wide open, and addai and rhodes were ten times better together but they couldn't give it to one of them. also i find it hard to believe they took addai out of the game just so peyton would get the mvp. infact i know that's false because tony dungy would never do that no matter how much he loves peyton.

bob sanders did play great but you can't give him the mvp for an int. i don't remember any forced fumbles but i could be wrong, and with the defense playing so well it would of been hard to single out one player.

allright then. i would have to say then they should've done co-mvp's with rhodes and addai, but still even if peyton had a worse game than he did they still would've given it to him considering it was his first superbowl, the hype surrounding him, and the politics of the NFL. there was no way peyton wouldn't of gotten it if the colts won because everyone loves him and kisses his butt, which he does deserve however, just not too the extent some people do. with that said he played pretty well and i'm not upset they gave it to him. i'm extually happy because, while it may not of been the right choice based on your opinion he played well enough so that knowone can say it's a complete outrage and i'm actually a fan of his, and now he can be considered as the greastest qb of all time. well done peyton.

i didn`t watch the colts that much but i think the running back should get it he played great during the super bowl.

Addai should have gotten it along with Manning. Some of the fumbles and stuff were due to it being rainy.

He did have one FF; which came on his blitz up the middle on the run. Not necessarily lobbying for him, just throwing out more choices since I don't really think Manning played well enough to warrant an MVP.

"hey Chicago! you know whats gross, man? your quarterback Rex Grossman"-Stephen (sp) Colbert trash talking the playoff teams. It is just so true
