i like the saws, but this is getting a little over the top isnt it?

Im probably not going to watch it. Saw 3 was horrible IMO, Instead of following the pattern it had set in the first two where it made you think and was unpredictable, the third was predictable and gory with no suspense at all. I can only imagine what the fourth is going to be like, especially since JigSaw is dead.

i thought the first two were pretty good for horror movies but the third was a little bit of a gore fest and didnt have the same kinda fight to survive vibe to it i hope th go back to the goodness of the first two in this one

I saw on another website that said that, Jigsaw had other victims that the police never knew about. I think they mean that the game was going on simotaniusly as his last game.

how is it over the top, if you knew anything, you would know that they already planed to make it a five movie series.

Well, judging by the trend in Hollywood... it will be a prequel to show how jigsaw became so messed up... i bet it has to do with Vietnam.

Wow I really, really hope Saw 4 is like Saw 1 or 2, because 3 was just terrible. Saw 1 and 2 had a unique addage to them, while 3 simply had gore, and more gore... The 'game' that Jigsaw played was altered and it simply wasn't the same.
I don't know if it just me, but didn't the movies already somewhat show why Jigsaw did what he did?
I must admit, the gore and torture scenes were definitely creative and unique but it seems like the producers put all their creativity into those scenes and not the overall plot.

All the saws are great but saw 2 and 3 compared to saw 1 was horrible. I hope the plot gets better now because jigsaw dies and the man has to rescue his daughter.

thats because jigsaw was running that game, that dumb whore was for him, which kinda sucked, but i do hope its more like the first two and i already cant wait for the 5th one to come out.

Spoilers maybe? Oh well, that's what you get for not having seen Saw III yet.


it most likely won't be a prequel... theories are that jeff will be the new jigsaw, much like the plot of the first movie, where the hospital staff guy is poisoned and has to do all this other stuff to get the poison out of his body. It's predicted that Jeff, since he wants to get his daughter back, will force people to do things that are basically all set up by jigsaw in order to get his daughter. It also really didn't fully explain what was up with Jigsaw and his wife, and what the deal with the flashbacks were, so we should get more of an explanation there... It undoubtedly will not follow the same plot ideals as Saw I and II, just because the mystery is no longer there.

Or, we could have a copycat killer...

who knows. I'll see it, but only after it comes to the campus and I can watch it for 2 dollars.

I've been reading the Saw forums (weird, I know) and those people are crazy. They see so many details that no one would ever think about. Lots of them are saying that Dr. Gordon from the first one, who was never proven dead or talked about since the first one, will be the next Jigsaw.

i loved all the saws even the 3rd. (more becuz i love all the movies i have to sneak into....curse for my 15 yr old body) i love gore. hostel was great (the gore side not the porn part...though...) anyways liked the whole chest/ abdomin exploding scene. YUMMY

well ive seen one and two and they are both great but i havent seen the third. from what i heard it wasnt much suspense but the "games" were better. however, i think they should go for a fourth it doesnt seem like a bad idea.
