Fall Out Boy's New CD

Infinity On High is Fall Out Boys new cd. I really was not expecting much whee I bought the Cd today. I must say that i Like this CD better there last album "from under the cork tree". Anybody else hear the new music?

Edit: I changed my view of this cd after a few days of listenng to it. It's not a great Cd. It has a few songs that are pretty good but nothing that will be called there best. "From under the cork tree" and "Take This to Your Grave" were alot better albums. Those Cds i could listen to straight through and enjoy every song. Infinity has some songs that i can stand to listen to, any more. Best songs from the cd you should download are "Golden","Thnks fr th Mmrs", And "Thriller"(probably the best song).

Yea I've had this cd for a little while now. I really liked Take This To Your Grave....I couldn't stand From Under The Cork Tree.....and now I must say that I enjoy the new cd to an extent. It's not there best but overall definately better than From Under The Cork Tree. It sounds like they took some influence from Panic! At The Disco, after Panic! took some influence from them for their debut cd.

This aint a scene, its an armsrace is the most annoying song on the cd. I have not listened to it once on the cd.(mainly because it has been rammed down my throat by listening to the radio. There are some really good songs.

I've got had the new album for a while now, I've only listened to it a few times and i think it's okay not as good as their previous two efforts. However i think it might grow on me.

The only time I have listened to Fallout Boy were when I heard their latest single the other day on TV. I can honestly say I never want to hear it or another one of their songs again.

This is such a horrible album. Not musically but lyrically. The self-importance and "we're better than you" hypocrisy just stenches from this album.

Honestly, music is average, just typical power-pop but the hypocritical lyrics are mind bending.

It's catchy stuff and that's how I justify liking it. They put on a good show and a lot of people agree with my point of view. I'm not saying that they're the next Nirvana by any stretch of the imagination but they are a talented group of guys and have come up with a unique sound that is catchy. What's so bad about that?
Its not controversial, its HYPOCRITICAL for instance asking people to jump on another bandwagon, their miserable attempts at "expanding" their sound. Its utter garbage.

Its hardly unique when I can name at least 4 bands that sound almost exactly like them.

Catchy yes, mind blowing....no. But I think what some may call "real music" as somewhat boring. Theres no doubting the greats, but some bands/people put in too much technichal and not enough "head bopping". I guess....?

In my opinion Fall Out Boy is terrible and they are only popular because people only like catchy music these days. It has nothing to do with lyrics for them. And what the hell does infinity on high mean? Honestly.

I completly know what you mean, im not usually a fan of that kind of music but some guys i carpool with to school have been listening to it, and i actually think its a great CD. There are no songs on there that i actually dislike.
