Yes, David Mitchell is on Cornell....As far as knowing how he did, well I do not know, but he dangles, lets just leave it at that.

Must be the best dang dangler there is then to post the kind of numbers he did last year.

from the web site above "...he was the Big Red's main offensive weapon. He started all 14 games on the year and gave Cornell its first 40-goal performance in a single-season since Sean Steinwald scored 44 goals during the 2000 campaign. He finished the year with 43 goals and added nine assists for a team-best 52 points and ranked second in the nation with 3.07 goals per game. He also owns the longest point-scoring streak on the team, registering at least one point in all 14 contests during the 2006 season..."
If he does dangle, as you claim, the rest of the league should be thankful because who knows what he could do if he didn't.

Usually and I am assuming that the way it used is to imply that the player dangles his stick away from and therefor unprotected by his body. Allowing for a defender to easily check the stick. In my neck of the woods it is about 2 steps above being called and egg and spooner one that can not cradle and carries his stick infront of his body as if he was carrying an egg on a spoon (usually looks about as shakey).

a dangle is a hockey term where you shake your defender with a good move
being a dangler is a good thing

A dangler, origin is from hockey. And of course since I am from Minnesota, it is a term used alot. A Dangler; someone who is one the best on the team, always has sick nasty moves to burn defenders and make them look silly, then obviously able to put the ball in the net.

I guess the Amercian to Canadian translation was lost. Up there in my neck of the woods a dangler is a bad thing. It means you don't protect your stick and you hang it way way out especially when shooting.
But know knowing your termanology I take back my previous post and Agree that Dave is a dangler and then some.

Mitchell is a "dangler" in every good sense of the word. I coached David for years in both box and field... he is one of a kind!
