My team. chartiers valley, is from pittsburgh,PA and were taking a team trip to virginia on march 8-11. were doin some stuff at UVA but were playin charlottesville-albemarle and williamsburg, i just wanted to kno if anyone played for one of those teams.

hey we go there for sb too, last year we played St. Annes Belfield, nice field, good team.. we go to virginia beach for the rest of the time though.. just hope that your not staying in the "Old English Inn" it sucks

st. x plays us too, and i belive STAB is the best team in c-ville

were not scheduled to play them this year though for some reason, last year it was a pretty good game, we only beat them by three i think

yeah in VA were playing STAB, norfolk academy, norfolk collegiate, and nansemond suffolk.. we really sucked last year considering we only had 3 seniors. this year we'll defenitly compete, i dono if we'll win but at least compete, only loss was our goalie who was sick but other than that we just got more athletic and more experience, i heard norfolk academy lost a lot of people?

Norfolk Academy seems to be pretty awesome every year at lacrosse....but hopefully they did lose people...im tired of gettin killed everytime we play them

No I think we're staying at, uh I think it's called the University Inn or something like that. Anywho, I'm really psyched about going. On March 9th were going to Charlottsville-Albemarle, then Williamsburg on the 11th. Let me know if any other of you guys will be there, because we're playing a couple of teams from down there.

There were a lot of Albemarle and STAB kids at UVA's camp this summer... They were pretty good too. Bet they'll give your PA team a good run for your money. Have fun guys.

does anyone know how norfolk collegiate is? i play for louisville st. x too, and am a senior and have been on the trip to VA twice already.. weve played stab, nanesmond-sufolk and norfolk academy before.. but collegiate is a new one

Ablemarle is the beast of southern Virginia lacrosse, C'ville, williamsburg arnt as good. But all these teams have a hard time competing with good Nova teams

cavgoalie- i dont know about albemarle being the 'beast', we played them in a fall tourney and they were solid but not spectacular, they beat a few teams but we beat them.
useyernikes- norfolk collegiate is not that good. from how you guys played against us last year i have no doubt that youll beat them handily

well before they went to an official tourny system, every single year Ablemarle was representing southern virgnia in the state Championship, other than that, I dont no much about teams from charlottesville and down there

central va schools are weak at lacrosse but albemarle is one of the best Double-A teams in the state and has been for the past several years.

I play in albemarle's district, they aren't as good as they have been in previous years, their team's base is on their best midfielder Stevie Murray(sp?) who's commited to loyola, and all of their faceoff guys just go for fast breaks.
They, however, lost to North Stafford, another team in my district and my team's rival. North is a lot better and a lot deeper than albemarle.
Albemarle lost all but stevie last year.
but to the post, STAB is the best.

im from st x louisville, we played STAB and a couple teams in norfolk, but as for STAB we lost 7-9 and we were down 7-8 with 30 seconds to go when we like pulled our goalie to help and they got a cheap goal. they have some good poles, and a very good middie thats huge and probably the most athletic kid ive played against, but if you force him left he has absolultely no left handed shot.. overall a good team with nice facilities and stuff
