Quick question for everyone...
What happens if the season starts, but there's no coach?
Do the players just take over, or does the school have to stick a random person in there even if they know nothing about the sport :WTF: ?

Uh...I think you have to have a coach to legally have a team?

Maybe they'd just stick a random teacher in there?

(In GA, all coaches have to be teachers in the county as well.)

Really? Is that just head coaches or all coaches? Because that's pretty idiotic if you ask me, since you're barring people who may be great coaches but have other jobs from coaching.

I think on one of the school funded teams-They have to be a teacher.

I'm glad thats not the case here, because my coach is a Stock Broker.

If its a club sport, the school might not do anything. You'd probably have to talk to a teacher.

some team we played this season, had their coach quit... and for the rest of the season they had a parent "run" practices and "coach" them during the games... it was pretty much just the players running the team
