i went to the scrimmage today. im pretty sure princeton won it but it was close. it would have been alot less close if we didnt pull hewit in the fourth quarter. he made incredible saves, and i know he made at least 10. dan cocoziello got a usc for dropping the f-bomb pretty freakin loud. our offense was doing really well, but they just didnt get many chances. we were pushing the ball with some speed.
phipps played pretty well for maryland. he wasnt amazing, but he was solid. he made some mistakes typical for a freshman (hurried some clears etc.) the offense was really sloppy and made some high school level mistakes. they also played super slowdown, they made princeton look run and gun. im not even kidding. overall not too impressed with the way they were playing.
on another note, princeton superflys are really tight. and for some reason they are wearing triumphs. maybe it has something to do with the new balance merger. the helmets werent too flashy. just white a white shell and a black visor and chin. i also got alex hewits autograph :drool:
