i wear a brine GBP from the 80s and it protects me fine. it's a little small, so i wear it just above my stomach for more shoulder coverage.

K this is my first time posting on this forum.....neway this was my first season playing lacrosse and it is my new favorite sport, Im starting to play goalie on a travel team now but during the high school season I started playin wit a some Brine chest protector I got at a local sports shop but I started playing up with varsity and I started taking alot of shots of the shoulders so I started wearing shoulder pads but now there really effecting my ability 2 run the ball cuz there so bulky so I was wondering whats a good chest protector that offers some shoulder protection so I dont have 2 wear the shoulder pads nemore....I also kinda think they make me look wierd cuz ive seen goalies wear shinguards and elbow pads (I dont) but im the only goalie i know who wears shoulder pads over the chest protector.

warrior MLL goalie guard. has more bulk then some chest protectors, but would be alot better than using shoulder pads over your current one.
