After playing 6 quarters against Georgetown and Navy, sophomore Garrett Billings has 10 goals and 6 assists....and he's not even close to being the best player for the Hoos. It will be tough, Hopkins and Cuse are loaded...but I think UVA could very well repeat. What do others think?

princeton is in a good position to defeat the hoos this year. even last years team had a little trouble with them, and i know that this years team wont be as good, and princetons has gotten better. i may be a little biased but its the truth.

No. It is extremely hard to do it in any sport. I think the last time it happened was in 1991 and 1992 when Duke did it in basketball. Maybe USC or someone did it in football more recently, but im not sure. There are to many good teams with to much talent. Maybe it will happen, but I doubt it.

The good thing about this season is that any team in the top 5 (maybe 6) can beat any other team in the top 5/6.
Princeton has a real good chance of beating them, as they return pretty much everyone, 'Cuse can beat them if Coluccini shows up to play (which he obviously didn't last year), Hopkins is loaded for this year, and Georgetown is looking promising as well.
I'm not betting on anybody right now, as everyone is pretty much even. We will just have to wait and see.

I think for a RS Freshman He showed up pretty well. I'd have to say that SU will stop the Hoos this year.

I don't know. I was at that game. Virginia DOMINATED the entire game. The only thing that kept Princeton in it is that their goalie had something like 25 saves. He was incredible, but unless he has a repeat performance, I don't think it will even be close.

Look up Kenyon swimming, or USC football. Or Denver hockey. Or UConn women's basketball.

i think princeton will have a shot at them also cuse if there defense steps it up
They are no doubt a strong team and they should make the final four but duke, hopkins and princeton will give them some trouble

You don't have to worry about Virginia. Put your money on Delaware.

keep your head up for denver this year. they got a bunch of good strong canadian midfielders who are going to make a huge impact right of the bat. so they win a championship within the next 4 years.

ahaha
sorry for that.
i think it will be either Maryland, Hopkins, or Duke. all 3 have great teams that always preform well. they have alot of experience, and talent.

Delaware doesn't look bad this year though... They could be like a UMass or something-- do really well in the tournament and surprise everyone.

SU is too erratic, and they're D isn't very good (compared to other teams). Maryland, since the loss of Joes Walters, doesn't have the offensive firepower it needs.
