Haha I like them. One of my teammates had one and got some crap for it but cannot use it anymore because the rule book says it has to be less then 10% smoke.

I own a clear one I wear occasionally, it isn't too comfortable for indoor because it is so humid. I bought it mainly for football, but it looks BA for lax too. I could care less whether or not you hate them or try to lay me out because you will either end up with a penalty or embarassing yourself.

I have one, two of my coaches love it, won't let me use it because it's illegal, but they think it looks sweet, its 20 percent tinted, can't see my eyes at all.
Who cares if one person doesn't like them.

I gaurentee I have people trying to hit me just for tha treason, Cool, Try to hit me--Good Luck.

And I'm actually glade I bought it, I'll be using it for travel teams.
But I might buy a clear one for the season, keeps a lot of crap out of my eyes during faceoffs.

That would be illegal for NFHS and NCAA play just so you know.

Can you give a reason other than your unsubtantiated bias against those who wear them?

thyre purpose in football is to keep fingers out of your eyes, and if they are tinted , they keep the sun out of your eyes...i have one for football but i dont use it for lacrosse, it just looks dumb, especially a clear one(which i have) on a lax helmet

Or he has visor envy and knows he'd get ranked on if he wore one because he's not that good.

Give me a good reason why you don't like them. :monkey:

I could take a but end through the facemask of my CPX. The shield would protect me instead of me losing an eye.

Fortunately I don't live in the 609. I'm still waiting for a reason.

My one good reason I dont like them:

They look stupid. Come to where I play and you might just get hurt. Not by just me, by the entire area.

I think visors make you look cocky i just dont know why.

Now threats against my health? Ouch.

I've played against Jersey kids (I'm from CT, not Compton) and you (Jersey laxers) don't exactly intimidate me with your size or lacrosse skills. I'm a big boy, I can handle myself.

How does protecting your eyes make you cocky? Could it just be that you are overly materialistic and make rash judgements about a person's character based on their attire?

I am not threatining health dude. Relax. Its a forum.

Oh and play some of the kids from Delbarton. # 6 in the country.

Materialistic is also the wrong word. But in all honesty, I just dont like visors and not one of my teammates do, and neither do any of my coaches. I thought it was a good majority of players didnt.

But also in honesty, Im allowed to say that I dont like them, and you dont know some of the competition ive been against who hav worn visors. Geez i didnt know so many people actually liked those things.

Where do you play, What age group, What summer travel team
I'm pretty sure I'm out east this summer quite a few times, Hopefully I'll play some jersey teams, I'll wear my visor. I'll handle myself.

I play football and lacrosse, a visor in lacrosse helps me far more, in faceoffs its kept tire bits out of my eyes [those little black things that make up a football artificial turf], it keeps dirt out my eyes, and it makes me look straight up Baller..

No one's going to hurt me in Jersey.

Hell, I'll come to a camp this summer just for ya, Shall be intresting.

We already have many threads discussing visors in lax, and this thread is getting too heated.
