I dont have a good pair of athletic pants to practice/warm-up in for the cold weather. What are the best pants for playing lacrosse in? I definitely want something that has elastic or tapered ankles—dont want no flappety pants.

or you can get the under armor cold gear pants, they are basically tights but you wear them under shorts, they are sweet and dont restrict movement or have the risk of falling down.

Boathouse windpants are love.
but since you don't have those, wear longjohns and sweatpants, or soemthing to that effect.

sweatpants with windbreaker pants overtop...the sweat pants keep you warm and the wind pants keep the wind from coming in. Keeps you very warm and it is still light because the windpants weigh nothing.

I'm gonna have to go with the UA ColdGear leggings and the shorts overtop. It's awesome.

As mentioned, the UA cold gear leggins coupled with knee high socks either under or over are a great way to stay warm.

UA cold gear leggings is your best bet, but if you want something more like pants I would look into soccer warm-up pants. They usually have nice tapered legs.

probally like stated before, sweat pants are the best.

Compton Specials are actually the best. Really huge sweatpants with an obnoxious color, with the elastic placed over the knee cap with the rest hanging down. Then put on a pair of long socks or just go like that. Or cut the pants into kapris. I find that anything on the shins is restricive, and if you play pole and back pedal, you are bound to trip over them.

Yeah they probably work great, but then you have to have people making fun of you for wearing....tights. :chuckle:
I'm a sweatpants or track pants guy over compr. shorts + long socks, or over long undies.

of course, you don't wear the tights on the outside. you wear them under a pair of shorts so they look like you're wearing a pair of high socks or something. there were a lot of NBA players that wore tights under their shorts last season (against the rules this season, though). same with a lot of college lax teams during the first couple games of the season. i remember seeing joe walters wearing them when they lit up dartmouth 14-2 last season. looks ballin'.

I get that you wear shorts over the tights, but I still think it looks pretty silly. I hated the look on NBA ballers, and I hate it just as much on laxers. Still, to each his own.
