wats the difference between the two and i own a proton, how can i tell if its a proton plus

they are the same thing, im pretty sure a proton is a proton+ on the throat it should say proton +

actually they are different. the proton has a straight offset. Stx was sued by brine because straight offsets ARE patented by brine. So stx had to change the proton and x2 up by creating the proton + and x2 +. the plus versions have a forward cant offset.

Then how come Warrior and Harrow are permitted to manifacture off-set heads? I know New Balance purchased Brine, which New Balance already owns Warrior. But before the join occured, how did Warrior manufacture off-set heads?

basically the same thing theres like a 2 degree difference of offset/cant whatever you wanna call it

its mot that the head is offset, it is the way it is offset. All companies offsets are different, just different enough to pass the patents. And if two companies have the same offset there should be royalties to whichever company has the original patent. at least that is what i believe to be true, but in no way am I an expert.

and warrior doesnt have to pay anymore (not that they did) for any sort of offset after the purchase NB made.
