if ur a goalie is it bad to try and predict the shot or wait till the last second to move(personaly i think you should wait till the last second).

just wait to see where the balls going and react quickly. If you try predict the shot and you miss you'll look like a damn fool. Maybe if you can see where the shooterslooking or where his sticks aiming you can predict it but i wouldn't recomend it

chances are if you react at the last second, there's going to be a goal. the ball moves way too fast for you to make a decision at the last second. you should react at every second. if you watch tillman johnson, he constantly reacts like when he follows fakes. here's an example: one guy is on the crease and throws a fake. he doesn't react. then the guy looks like he's going to fake again. he doesn't react again because he thinks it's another fake. then, the guy scores a goal. just constantly react.

you dont follow fakes that the hole point of fakes to get the goalies stick moving. you just line your body up with their stick and hope for the best. if there doing heaps of fakes run out and give him a hip and shoulder while keeping your stick up

Im assuming you mean on close shots, on far out shots you should never try to predict where the ball is going, you have to wait until you "see" the ball out of the stick, then explode to it.
Read this article on "freezing"
http://www.uslaxcamps.com/Features/saves.asp?sec=tip

Basically it says to keep your eye on the ball and "freeze" before a shot then explode to it.
