Was wondering when the highschool season "officially" starts.

Conditioning starts February 19th, indoor practice starts February 26th, and our first game is scheduled for April 10th.

Ours starts 3rd week of March (practice). Not sure when our games will be. Probably near the end of March to early April.

My first HS game was today but we have been practicing since January, but Im from Canada so it might be a bit different.

Not sure, we are currently going through a drought in my area so most of the grounds are really dry, So it's still yet to be determined when they will be fit to play on.

Geez a lot of you guys start in march? we start february 19 and comditioning started in november... first scrimmage is something like in early march.

i think most schools will start on march 12 for official practices that count toward playing in games and scrimmages. i know that probably all of new york starts march 12. but before march 12, we all start preseason training and stuff. we started back in december with conditioning, and then started practicing in january, like small, warmup practices where we learn and practice the defenses, run a bit, do some drills, but no actual practice. and we scrimmage in later march because our season doesnt really start playing games till april.

Yeah, I'm in Texas and our first game was this past Tuesday (Feb. 13). We started practicing in early January.
