Head Scratcher (please help me out)

We've always said that one of the NCAA-NFHS rules differences is that under NCAA rules, routine equipment inspections are only of the crosse while under NFHS rules all equipment checks are full-service (crosse and equipment). I cannot find language in the rulebooks to support this. Anyone care to support this position by citing the rules?

Ah, I got it. NCAA 4-28-b says "crosse," while NFHS 4-30-2 says "equipment." But since it says "at least one," I think you could get away with doing full-service on the first check and then just the crosse on a subsequent check.
