hop is no.1 now and va dropped to number 8. drexel is ranked for the first time ever at number 17 and princeton is number 3. w00t!

I dont think Cuse put up a solid enough performance against Hobart to go up to number one just yet.

Hop is #1? Not bad for not having played a game yet. Shouldn't the undefeated teams be ranked ahead of teams that have not started their season? Also, why isn't Drexel ranked ahead of Va?

The rankings are voted by the media on who they think are the best teams just like the college football rankings are. UVA was previously #1 and it was only one game. The teams who haven't played still get votes because the people voting believe they are still better than some of the undefeated teams. Drexel was also unranked making it harder for them to get higher up in the rankings.

Psst..if you have not started your season yet you are undefeated.
The way some of the posts here annointed VA #1 for the next five years Drexel should have been voted #1. So far they have played the toughest schedule and are undefeated.

This isn't the official poll though. It's the USILA (I think?) that is the official one, if I'm not mistaken.

Drexel's been ranked before, maybe not by Inside Lacrosse, but in the USILA polls it has.
