im so pumped

started today. i played really well. ran my heart out. hopefully the coaches noticed and took it into consideration. i dropped a few balls, and had only 2 or 3 shots that missed the cage. schooled everyone in one-on-ones and came in first on all of the windsprints. i also finished 3rd in the mile. im not worried speed-wise, but its my passing that could take me back....

all this week 4:30-6:30. m first time trying out for a hs team. i am doing well, need to work on endurance though

our tryouts already happened. i have about 3 weeks to build up a bit of cardio, but the running clear isnt really a built in move for my team. both me and the other goalie are kinda big guys, so running isnt normally in our vocabulary, but our coaches are letting it slide for now.

at least last week i got the starting nod from my coaches that i will start as of now unless anything happens to really change that.

its strange...a few of my teammates and i have really been putting our feet down on when we workout and stuff, and we pressured our team with the fact that we only have "so much" time to work towards the season. and it seems like we said that everyday and now we say it again and it doesn matter. the season is here. come march 13 were rolling.

I have mine on the 3rd week of March. I know I am on the team already because I am the returning goalie and lacrosse is not that big at our school. We may only have 13 people try out.
