What a great move by the Cannons! BU was a good venue, but Harvard is a big step up. It will look really cool on tv.
Hopefully they can have a few 2ok + attendance days. THE Stadium is surounded by huge fields. Plenty of room to tailgate.
Are there going to be any of the other teams stepping up to.

thats awesome. I went to one of their games in august agaisnt the bayhawks and the BU bleachers were so small and crowded. This should be a big step up.

Is the Harvard stadium an actual stadium? Because I think my high school's field was almost as nice as Nickerson... the only perk is the giant screen.
RichFromBoston, I think 20,000 might be a little high, I mean it's possible, but it seems unlikely.

Aw man, before at BU you could go out on their balconies and watch the games from the dorm. But I dont have any connections at Harvard, how will I ever watch their games for free now?!

Harvard's new venue is breathtaking, but I really liked the atmosphere of Nickerson Field. It was in a gorgeous part of Boston, all of the amenities were great, and I always looked forward to visiting Nickerson. It was a quality place to get a really nice view of Boston. Plus, attendance numbers were phenomenal every year.

I agree BU was good, probalbly one of the best venues in MLL.
But Harvard is a great situation, and it is pretty close too. So it isn't like they are moving to a new town.
