A little bit more information, as posted by Adam, which is one of the forum announcemnts, you guys should always read the annoucnemts as they usualy contain some pretty cool information.
And i have no clue what time it will be on on the west coast, im hoping 4 p.m. over there aswell.
And if you miss it today and dont have ESPNU, there is always the possability that ESPN2 will rerun it at some time in the not too distant future. (you could try to tape it?) I mean, ESPN2 reruns poker and womens basket ball... so im sure something as worthwhile as Inside Lacrosse TV's premeire episode will be played at a later time!

The show will be on ESPN2 this Thursday at 4 p.m. and will only be re-aired on ESPNU.

I thought that was awesome. I didn't realize how sad the Hoftra story was until they did the piece on it. And they were definatly pushing the Face-Off Classic.. now its going to suck not having anymore lacrosse on TV.. gotta convince my parents to order ESPNU.

That hofstra story was pretty sad. I wonder how much this will impact the growth of the sport. I was expecting more talk about the MLL though

I thought it was a good preview show. The Goalie segment was interesting, as well as a few highlights I have never seen. The Gait commercial was clever, bad acting yes, but clever.

I thought the show was pretty sweet! The Hofstra story was really sad. Considering I play girls lax, I was a little disappointed that they only had a one minute coverage on the womens side. Oh well, I guess with the growth of the mens game the womens side will follow. It was cool how almost all the commercials were lax ones.

It was good, but not that much stuff. I think one hour a week is not enough. If someone missed it, there is nothing really much to fret about. If you mis the faceoff classic, thats different.

I loved the goalie part. For people who have never seen lacrosse before, they made goalies look absolutely insane... although that may be true.

yeah, the goalie part was most deffinatly my favorite. And i liked the into.... how it went though the pages of the mag, i was diggin it.
But zero TLF representation? i feel.. i feel.. i feel so betrayed! I demand that for the next episode i get to sit behind quint and mod on a 38 inch monitor.. so that everyone can see the modsmenship of TLF.
Oh yeah, you can turn your TV off now.. just so you have my permission.

Pretty good show. I risked my bosses' wrath by taping it on the office TV, but my immediate supervisor just shook his head, smirked and walked away. Didn't actually watch it until I got home, though.
I agree with the lady up above -- there shoulda been more women's coverage, as well as more talk about MLL -- it was mentioned, yes, but I was surprised they didn't use any of ESPN's footage from last summer's Championship in L.A. that Philly won.
But these are just minor quibbles. Just being able to see a Lacrosse-only show on a TV channel that any regular cable subscriber can get was awesome.

booo to that! That's exactly what it seemed like and that is not cool at all. I was so excited because today was on a channel that everybody gets! Including me! so to tease me like that and then have everything else on espnu is wack!
Did they mention when the shows would continue or when powell hour would be on anyways? I was confused about this, it seemed more like a test-episode. Weird.

I really think that in order for lacrosse to develop, we need to get shows like this during typical viewing hours on REGULAR ESPN, and maybe game coverage. Because seriously, even in the places that lacrosse is just budding (South region) people NEVER get introduced to it. Maybe if they even incorporated a bit more of it into sportscenter. I mean, everyone thinks its a joke until they see it, and than they just get hooked. Its upsetting that a major network isnt more supportive. I'm sick of watching spelling bees, poker, bowling, and fishing all of the time.
Oh yea, and I really really enjoyed watching the program, it was very cool. The story about the Hofstra player was very sad, but it really was done very well. RIP.

Thanks, all - it was a blast to put together. Check out the re-airs on ESPN U, and as a part of next week's launch of "InsideLacrosseTV," a new section of IL.com that's all lacrosse video, all the time. The whole show will run, plus a lot of original programming that we're doing for the web. (We've got a kyle harrison 'cribs' episode in the works - and you can also upload any of your videos to IL's ftp site and we'll run user videos).
Next show will be the season wrap-up. (Also on espn2 with re-airs all summer on espnU).
By the way - we met today on show content for the second show. If anybody has ideas on what you'd like to see featured next time around, let us know.

As I stated in a different thread of yours, it would be really nice to add more wlax. I don't care what kind of wlax you put on there, but there needs to be more. I realize it's not as popular as mlax, but I think (as well as many wlax fans think) IL in general, not just ILTV, is lacking in wlax material and could use a boost. Granted I'm biased, but I really do think IL could do much, much better than what they're producing now when it comes to wlax.

I agree with you 100%! The only mention of wlax in the show on ESPN2 was at the very very end, like the last minute. It is kind of disappionting.

I agree, I play guys lacrosse, and wouldn't mind if there was some more women's lacrosse on, it deserves exposure as well, plus, I'm not great on all the rules women's lacrosse, granted I know a queit bit, a little more never hurts. I think a segment totaly on women's lacrosse would be good, maybe a comparision between guys and girls lacrosse, for the people who don't know much about the difference.
the 30 second talk at the end, well that wasn't really anything, at least some highlights would've made it better.
