Duke v. Dartmouth or NC v. Denver

So, which game would you guys rather see? What prospects to be a better game, from a competition standpoint? I have the opportunity to go to either, and want to see the better game. I really want to see Duke play, but the competition between North Carolina and Denver is a lot closer.

i would go to the duke game becuase its their first season game since it was ended in 2006(correct me if im wrong). Denver will be a lot closer of a game though.

Well I'm definatly going to the Duke game. My team is playing at the Tony Cullen tournament right next to the game field like 4 hours before the game starts.

i picked the UNC/Denver game because nobody else had....but really, if i was there for the weekend, i would go Dartmouth/Duke if only because of the raucous atmosphere expected (unc/denver should be the better game) then Denver/Duke on Sunday....

can't lose really...

while I support duke and think they will make it to the finals this year...
i would want to watch a closer game...
denver could make huge waves this year...
unc is trying to prove they dont suck as bad as their record let on last year...denver/unc should be a hell of a game

thats a close one for sure. but im definately a big duke fan and hoping they come back from the debacle experianced last year. I'm gonna have to vote for them, because they have a lot to prove, and im hoping they pull it off. i just want to watch my man danowski tear it up. I do want to see some of the highlights from the denver NC game though, those two teams i couldnt tell how good they'd be this year, but im liking denver as of late too.

The duke game was incredible. Duke won handily, I don't remember the score, but they were looking really good coming off of the incident. The stadium was packed!! Id never seen so many people at a lacrosse game other than the Final 4. There was easily 5000+

i was at the unc/denver game, which was great, unc won 11-8, wasnt decided until last two minutes, and denver looked pretty sloppy. I heard there wer 7000 in attendance at duke, but a great weekend for lax in NC

I was at the UNC/Denver game as well. Denver started a comeback, but it didn't result in anything. Denver's goalie was making good saves when he did

TallLax, the final score was 17-11 Duke and the attendance was something aroudn 6,584. Yeah, I've never seen as many people there either.

i hate that fios is terrible with timing. i had both teh jhu and the duke games recording from espnu, and the hopkins game went over the 2 hours and 5 minutes it was given for recording. so it went into the duke game recording for like 15 minutes...so i basically got the entire first half of the duke game, and not much else.

Hopefully this year Duke wins the championship. I think that would be good for the sport, because with the whole rape case, winning the national championship by Duke would be HUGE, and mainly because it would provide lacrosse with alot more publicity memorial day weekend than normal. I mean think about how much the media and news feeds off controversy. Just imagine what would happen if Duke won the national championship a year after the season being cancelled and coach resigned because of outrageous lies by a coked up hooker, and a corrupt DA who only cared about winning a case for the "underprivelaged single african-american mother" who was "innocently stripping her way through college to support herself" for the "over privledged rich white boys" so he would look good. The story would be on newsheadlines across the country! And not on your random sports chanel that you have to pay an extra 100 dollars to get, granted your cable or satellite provider carries the chanel.

i agree...it would be great for the sport...i think as reparations nifong should be chained to a chair eyes glued open and made to watch this team and the fans supporting them

yea i hope nifong is convicted of all the charges agaisnt him and sent to prison. We all know how much the fellow inmates would treat an ex cop or law enforcement personel. looks like he better hang onto that soap
