My friends car leaked oil on my driveway and it pretty much dried before we realized it. How can I get the stain up?

I think baking soda is supposed to take it up, but good luck. Oil stains pretty good.

So I'm assuming you have a concrete driveway? It will come off over time from the elements, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yea but my parents want it off and they said it has to be gone by next friday or I lose my car for a week.

A pump of dawn and grease is gone.
In case you didn't catch that, Dawn soap did the trick for me.

You have to stand up to your parents and smack em in the face and say "That's a bad parent!"
On a much more serious note, I would get a scrub brush and some Simple Green, and get to scrubbing.

Try putting cat litter on it, I forget if thats only for wet oil spots or not, usually we just let it come off with time when it happens on my driveway.

I hear Coke, yes Coca Cola, does the trick with oil stains. It may just work with clothes, but its worth a shot...

Well kitty litter helps when its wet but this one dried over two days that my fiends car was parked at my house. So far I have tried a combo of degreaser, oxy clean, simple green, and scrubbing it and its lighting a little bit each time.

The mythbusters, busted that...........
Just use any kinda of anti-grease / oil detergent, and use a power hose and spray it clean.
