sumsum, i'm gonna assume that your father is chinese. am i right? the picture is one and the other is that to be 1/2 chinese, almost always, either the father or mother is 100% chinese because that's how we asians roll.
i think for you - 1/2 chinese, roughly 1/6 irish, 1/6 scottish, 1/6 english - to have good looking kids you should try to get someone who is more than 1/2 chinese. you gotta keep the asian-ness to balance the system.

i don't know why people just started putting in what they're made of. if you're white, i'm sorry, no one cares what you are. that definitely came across as mean, but if you were having a conversation with someone and you were like "i'm polish, italian, german, french, english, irish, etc." people are not going to care. if you were mixed (from a non-european culture), that's interesting. if you're 100% something, that's not as interesting, but still interesting...i think if you're at least 50% something, you have something interesting to say because you are more connected with your culture than say btlaxripper for example. i'm 100% chinese, so i speak chinese; i celebrate chinese new year; i've practiced buddhism (even though i'm catholic); i eat authentic chinese food. my friend and i are pretty much the same, but we're like abercrombie and fitch whores...it works out weird.

i think because they take everything for granted. the countries you mentioned are impoverished and they know that if they come to america, they have everything they've always dreamed of and more; they'll approach things more ambition and desire. natural born american citizens don't really know how things are outside of the comfort of their country, so they assume that the world they live in now is as real as it'll get. in this case, the real world isn't that bad.

Tortilla chips. Homemade, sometimes my mom does, are the best, and with her homemade salsa, it's beyond amazing.

Snacks:
Ritz crackers/pepperoni/cheese. Mmmmm.

Now to the Asian race:

Okay, I'm not Asian, I admit it. I lecture people about calling all Asian people Chinese, when they're not. (I can't tell the difference, so I just say Asian. Sorry, guys.) ANYWAY I get mad now about racism. Utahns make fun of Mexicans all the time, and it drives me nuts. Guess that's what happens when you're from VT. So, anyway, not all Asians work hard, just like not all Americans are fat and lazy (just lazy) and not all immigrants make it to the top. But, most Asians I've met are hard-working kids. They always seem to be good at math, because Henry Poon of Hong Kong was too smart for his own good in my math class. Then another Asian was at the top of that class, too. And me, the lucky kid, somehow got good grades. On accident. Yay for not studying!

Okay, so it turns out I'm not making sense. But I have good spelling, and I feel okay. And I hate Title IX. Boy, has that screwed over lacrosse. Jerks. Sorry ladies.
