SASQUATCH FESTIVAL! YEEEEEEEAH! I get to see Bjork and I'm so stoked. Especially considering I'm a very, very recent fan. But Homogenic is such a startlingly good album, so, you know. Plus Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, Dandy Warhols, Interpol, et cetera. YES! $55 a day. Not bad.

i was looking at the line ups, and one of the groups, Ozomatli, is on Jack Johnson's The September Sessions cd. sounds like fun.

yah. the line up is quite spectacular. Arcade Fire is what im looking forward too the most.
last years line up i think was way better than this years (though this years is still hecka good). i mean come on, there was the Flaming Lips, NIN, TV on the Radio (sweet band), Wolfmother, the Shins, Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, Queens of stone age, Matisyahu, the decemberists, Band of Horses, and way way more (those are the ones i thought you might have heard of).
this year is looking sweet as well. but i noticed more low key bands. but the headliners are Interpol, Bjork, the Beastie Boys, Spoon, Viva Voce, Aquaduct, the Helio Sequence, the Thermals (awesome), Common Market (some of my favorite rap), Tokyo Police Club, and the Saturday Knights (coolest band name ive ever heard). those are the main ones in my opinion.
When I went to see the Shins, Viva Voce got caught in a snowstorm. I was glad. I wasn't in the mood for an opening act that night. So I only saw the Shins. I'm stoked for most of this lineup, even if last year's was better. I mean, all those bands are sweet, but I'll survive. Still, I get to see Arcade Fire, who are stellar live, and Bjork, who surely must be legendary. I saw Death Cab, seen Shins twice, Band of Horses has come to Utah twice in the past year and will surely come again, Wolfmother, TV on the Radio and Trail of Dead would be so sweet, same with Queens of the Stone Age and Beck would be rad, but I mean, Sasquatch lineups always get longer than the initial list. Last year's lineup was initially shorter than this one, so we'll see what'll happen between now and memorial day weekend.
