i definatly like the woodie, and the torque...but for some reason the head looks out of place on a wood shaft maybe its just me but i'm not feelin the combo.

thanks all, yeah F&R i dont really mind the look but i know what you mean.
however, the feel DEFINITELY makes up for it. its simply amazing, i think im in love
and no, it really isnt that heavy. i was surprised at how light it was, quite frankly.

thanks.
i really don't see why more people aren't using wood. they aren't very heavy, they're stronger, and the feel is crazy good.

did you use one of the tutorials on here to make it?

Partly. My dad's a carpenter so ya know, he kind of blew off the directions besides the angles. But I did look at Hackstalls tut, sorry, credit is deserved. Thank you Hackstall, great tut. Keep C+C coming!

some one posted a picture in the stick doctors forum and it was a custom die of like an evo pro dyed orange then sprayed with PAM i think it gave it an antique wooden look that would look awesome with a woody shaft

This does look really nice and I am making some of my own now, but I liked the way mine looked better. I'm not trying to brag or say "mines better than your's" in anyway, I'm just saying that I liked how my stick was. The only thing is that it broke after like 3 games.
Here are pictures...

keep it to yourself then....
anyway..anyone know what coating i can put on that will make it less smooth and slippery, some people that i've sold them to dont like that they want it less slippery. thanks!
edit-i just read hackstalls post in his tutorial, he recommended minwax, but still, any others you guys know would be appreciated!
