How is it possible to practice in a foot of snow? You would lose about 50 balls a practice.

Lace your cleats up really tight.. wear hightop cleats if you've got them. and thick socks, like hiking socks would be good.

Yea we practiced today in about a half foot of good packing snow. It was actually fun and the cold didnt really bother me. I shoveled out the goal crease with my backup stick and it was funny seeing everyone getting checked into the snow. A good idea for your hands is to get those latex gloves that doctors wear because it keeps your hands dry. Go grab a pair from your trainer and you'll be set.

Ha, and again Ha. Our practice last Monday, we were in at least two feet of snow with a layer of ice under it. Half of our practice was dedicated to shoveling the snow from the turf to the track.

But to stay on topic, usually what helps is to wear several layers of socks, and makie sure you lace up your cleats really well.
