...with Jimalax. I ordered a ton of supplies so I could string sticks up for my teammates. Well the sidewall was horrible, it is very thin and weak. And it tears up very fast. This is after around 2 weeks of use on Astroturf, not cement.

this is why i dont get sidewall anymore. i didnt like the finish and my spool was fraying a bit before i used it.

That doesnt look anything like what Ive ever gotten from them. I hope this isnt a new trend of theirs, I dont want to have to find a new sidewall supplier.

Sidewall is thicker and more durable than X-lace. But it doesn't seem to be right now.

i prefer LAX.com's sidewall

I second that, ive never had a problem with my lax.com spool, and neither has anybody who had their stick strung by me. I would definatly contact Jima and let them know of your dissapointment with the quality.

i have the same problem with jima sidewalls. I had a spool of laxworld sidewall string and it would last forever, but my jima would be lucky to last a 3 weeks just off of offseason practice. I would call them about the poor quality but i already used most of the spool on account of i had to constantly replace the sidewall strings.

You can't really complain to them about that because thats the reason they have TOPSTRING, sidewall, and crosslace. All to string different parts of the stick. Even though I personally use sidewall, if it were to fray quickly, I'd have no good argument to complain to them. Its your choice to use sidewall instead.

I got a batch of that mesh a while back too. Its terrible. I havn't had an issue with the sidewall string but I definitely have had that crappy mesh. Sorry bro, I'm sure jimalax will go back to their old ways.

Ya your right except he was using sidewall string on his sidewalls and thats also where it frayed/ripped not only on the topstring. So since it broke there he should be able to talk to jimalax about it.

I'm still convinced crosslace is stronger than sidewall. You can email them and post this if you want in the current material thread.
