i just cracked the sidewall of my stick, but it is extremely small..fixable by a thin strip of tape. i ordered a new stick already, but we're about to leave for spring break and id really like to just keep using this one (kind of attached to it!) i checked the rule book to see if this was legal, but there was nothing about additions onto the head. wondering if anyone knew whether or not it really is legal?

I've had tape on the sidewall of my stick a few times last year and the refs didn't say anything and since you didn't find anything saying that it was illegal my guess is it's legal. Not postive though.

If the head of the stick if broken, a umpire could decide that it may be dangerous to other players and not let you play. That would result from a major broken head.
But a small area with a piece of tape should not raise any concerns.

yeah that happened to me my second to last game of the season last year, and i didnt want to buy a new one so i taped it and it worked out. you will have to retape it after every game though (if you touch the ball a lot haha)
See about getting it welded. There are places that have plastic welders. Better than tape

Just make sure the break does not effect the overall shape of the head. I broke a stick and I could tape it, but the break made it crooked.

Superglue works great.
