Its time to buy a new pair of gloves and i just want to see what all of you have to say about the IPRO's and Mutants. I'm tired of buying over priced gloves that are complete garbage, where the mesh rips about two weeks after I start using them (Which was been my experience with Brine and Warrior gloves). I tried on the Mutants this past weekend at the FaceOff in Baltimore and I really liked them, likewise I've tried on a pair of IPRo's that a friend on my team has. They both felt very flexible and it seemed like they would have a great feel on my stick. I was just wondering about the quality and overall durability...

The mutant's plam is the same material as the exodus, and exodus are notoriuos for ripping. The mutnats also have small fingers so I don't get why you think they areflexable. Because of those small fingers, the Mutants have pretty good protection. The IPROs are nice. The palm is a mix of black leather and lots of mesh for good ventalation. The protection must be pretty good because the USA team all wore them and STX got pretty good feedback from the players.

I've tried both and i felt that the mutants were very uncomfortable exp. the the thumb, the inside starts to come out and you have to keep putting it back in and if you don't put it back in right it really hurts your fingers. the ipros are nice and tight fitting and much more comfortable i prefer the palms on them as well. go ipros all the way!

Personally, I love the palms on my Mutants. Extremely comfortable!
Protection is great so far. The only thing I dont like is the new PalmFit System.
If you pull the drawstring, it takes forever to loosen it, and the cuff doesnt seem to close well. I fixed the cuff by buying a few velcro strips and attaching them to close the gap.
Still great gloves though.

I didn't really like the undetachable cuff on the Mutants and they were a little stiff. I was wondering if that stiffness will fade away as they are broken in more?

if you are looking for gloves in that price range, you should try on some defts while your at it. THey are stiff at first but once you use them after like a week or two, youll learn to love them. great protection two. But i would choose the ipro over the mutants.
